P-Vock's Music Box: This Dragon's Ready to Roost

Hello and welcome to my new Friday blog series, P-Vock's Music Box, where I find a classic tune from my increasingly massive Music Box that I adore to help prepare you for the weekend. I'm kicking this off by presenting a cover from one of the wonderful tunes out of the OST of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, the music from Dragon Roost Island.

As it gets warmer out, and we all get our vaccinations to help normalcy return once again, a nice seafaring adventure with a talking boat seems like the perfect thing to help kick off summer. Running around this cozy little island with this iconic tune blasting just takes me back to my days in middle school, where summer was an amazing experience that we always looked up to.

Since this OST has not been officially uploaded to Spotify, I'll be dropping an amazing cover courtesy of the incredible artist GlitchxCity. I think given that it is June, it makes sense to highlight a black artist from the LGBTQ+ community and her incredible works. She has a ton of incredible works, and I'm sure I'll mention her again in the future.
