P-Vock's Music box: Still Winds

Hello and welcome back once again to P-Vock's Music Box. I think that since I've been giving y'all a lot of music to really get you fired up, it's time to set back and chill a little bit. I shared a fair bit of winter music back in December, but most of them had a holiday tinge. But now, allow me to give you a bit of music to let you just chill. I'm not sorry for that one.

In the past, I've briefly mentioned my immense love for a nice little indie title all about farming. On the surface, 2016's Stardew Valley seems like a simple farming title made to fill a void left by then vacant series like Harvest Moon when in actuality, it's one of the most charming and relaxing pieces of media ever made. Upon first starting up the game, that idea is made very apparent.

No matter how many times I hear this, I have the same reaction. Every single time I turn it on, I feel a smile grow on my face that will not leave. The calming instrumentation, the mellow melody, and a rhythm truly deserving of the totally real term "vibe-worthy". I'll even point out that this track honestly fits any of the seasons incredibly well, which is not something I think about the next tune I have for you.

I love winter so much. I would even say that it is my favourite season. One thing I never tire of is simple winter mornings after a nice snowfall. The wind is still, the trees glisten, and the world seems to almost just stop. This is EXACTLY what this absolute gem conveys to me. Just simple pleasure and a relaxing tone.

Seriously, have a cup of coffee (or for you non-coffee people I don't know, boil some water and put a leaf in it or whatever) and just sit back with it while this plays on a winter morning when you have little to take care of. It is amazing how well it fits.

Normally, I have some bombastic music with some dumb jokes full of more ridiculous exaggerating statements that mean nothing than a crypto bro trying to explain NFTs, but I just wanted to relax this week. It's been stupidly cold for a good amount of this year, and while everyone around has been miserable, I've enjoyed it. I love winter.

Alright, enough dumb ramblings. I hope your weekend is totally fine and free of undue stress, and I'll see you right back here next week with another suggestion from my Music Box.

Stay Brutal.

P.S. If you're interested, I have a cover of this total jam to really help you stay calm.
