Alien in Exile #6

This is a blog that seeks to offer you a unique perspective, it has not all been done before. The perspective that you will hear from today is from someone who is not from earth but also not from anywhere else. We are the underground, we are an outsider, we are outcast, we are, the alien in exile.

Hello there again. In the last blog we talked about some of the finer things on Earth and today we would like to continue with that theme. We have said before that we are trapped here so we will make the best of it. There are some aspects of being here that we enjoy and one of them is the human creative element. We have observed humans broad categorization of what is called art. This is a very broad categorization indeed as it encompasses products of humanity like theatre, writing and literature, music, design, visual artworks and so on. It seems that humans appreciate art in forms that appeal to any, some, or all of the human senses.

For the perspective today, we will focus on just one art form: Music. Although we enjoy some musical forms, we do not pretend to understand it. On the contrary, we need to learn a great deal more on the subject and even with our extensive observation skills and time we still can not create music or understand how it works. We have found some that we enjoy although there are so many forms of music that are grating on the ears to us and we are bombarded with these types daily. Forms such as the content on the radio stations and the blaring advertisements that are everywhere. Music is a very broad concept, we have observed. What is music for some, it is not so for others.

For example, the genre of music that we find most enjoyable is electronic noise produced by machines. It is still a human invention, and humans operate the machines so it is still a human art form. Nevertheless we believe it is very creative and one of the things that makes being here more tolerable. There are some who think that electronic music is not music and one human has told us that it sounds like music for bugs. Because this is only one human the probability factor of this being true is almost nil. We do not know very many humans personally however, so the perspective can not be discounted entirely. We will keep this in mind with all of our future observations.

Music does have one common factor - everyone on this planet that has a sense of hearing can appreciate one form of music or another. We believe that this is an important observation and we believe there is power in music.

We are the Alien in Exile and we believe in the power of music.

Conclusion: Music is an unknown solution to a factor of human problems.
