Alien in Exile #24
The perspective that you will hear from today is from someone who is not from earth but also not from anywhere else. We are the underground, we are an outsider, we are outcast, we are, the alien in exile.
Hello humans. We are amazed at the bustle of human activities these days and we suppose it has something to do with the holiday season in this part of the planet that we currently occupy. We have nothing against these holidays that humans have, because they do seem to be a time of peace, albeit they are at the centre of a lot of commercialism. But do not fear, we are not going to discuss commercialism or other trash because we already touched base on the subject when we examined media in blog #17.
Today we would like to share with you our perspective on an earthly weather element that both puzzles and concerns us. Some humans seem to dislike this phenomenon very much but we are of the opinion that it is one of the finer things on earth. For some. The perspective for today is: Snow. It IS a four letter word as some people have pointed out, but it is not necessarily bad. Yes it is cold, but if it was a warm element we think it would be quite unbearable. Imagine if flakes of snow were warm and covered the earth with a blanket that gave off heat! The element would certainly have to be toxic to do so and the result would be a ridiculously hot and humid atmosphere that no one would survive.

Snow being a frozen element, therefore does make sense. Why humans seem to dislike cold weather is beyond us however, if you happen to be a rich human. It is so much easier to create warmth than to create cool. In the winter, if you are cold, just add another layer to your clothing, or turn up the thermostat on your appropriate heating inventions. However, there are humans who do not have these options available to them.
We believe that all humans should have the necessities of life provided as a basic right. Obviously, human bodies are not naturally equipped to withstand the elements such as they are with all of the other creatures on this planet. Humans must use tools and inventions to survive, and this is what they say makes the human brain intelligent. But if humans will not provide the necessities of life to other humans, how can they even claim to be superior to other creatures?
Snow is often a source of entertainment for the wealthier humans, and a source of misery for the poorer. Therefore we believe that we have a solution for this disparity. The wealthy humans should all vacate the tropical properties of earth and move all of the poorest northerners into those fine resorts. All tropical paradises could be inhabited and governed by former homeless humans and the humans who can afford to live in the frozen north will do so.

Wealthy humans already are known to utilize ski resorts and heated luxury vehicles and homes and have become so impervious to the outdoors, many of them do not even wear winter coats! It only makes sense then that they will remain in the northern parts of this planet. Humans who have known lifelong struggles with survival on the other hand, may live in the most hospitable parts of the earth where they can thrive and relieve the disparity between all humanity and the privileged few.
This winter season, is beautiful to the haves, and deadly to the have-nots. If you happen to be a human reading this, who has the privilege of the necessities of life to survive Canadian winters, and considers themselves a follower of holiday season morality, we hope you will consider taking the time to consider other humans. Others who are not as fortunate as yourself, and help them to at least have some of the basic necessities of life.
Conclusion: Snow is for the rich, we want equality for the poor - free the people and give what you can this holiday season.
