10 Punks - 10 Questions - Ozone
Welcome to the BRD Original Series - 10 Punks - 10 Questions!

Things have been sleepy in Brutal Land lately but don't even consider fretting because those days are over. We are pleased to present a brand new series that will hopefully bring a small amount of joy to your lives for at least the 10 days and beyond. Resident drunk/brute, Josh Hauta, has harassed 10 of his pals in the music scene with 10 questions and this is the glorious result. So hop into your coziest of PJ pants, grab a Radler, and prepare to be entertained!
The people have spoken and they demand more Innisfail! The town that smells like dog food and houses two top notch breweries also contains a world class drummer. You may know him as Ozone and he's played in such punk rock jugger-NOTS as Trashed Ambulance, Loser Points, Chimp Change, and Burning Nickels! He also in one half of the coolest record label that's half Innisfail - half Red Deer in High End Denim Records. Let's hear what he had to say!

BRUTAL REALITY DIGEST: Identify yourself, your band, and your weapon of choice.
OZONE: Hi, I am Ozone. I play drums in BxN and LxP, as well as acoustic guitar in Trashed Jambo.
BRD: What is your favourite part of the city/town you live in?
O: I live in Innisfail, AB. I like how it is a laid back, small town. I’ve spent too many years in multiple 1M+ population cities. Although I loved my times there, there is something to be said for small towns. Also, my in-laws live 45 seconds away which is great for my kids.
BRD: What is the worst part about the city/town you live in?
O: Probably easy access to certain amenities. Having no Wendy’s definitely sucks.
BRD: What is your favourite line from the Star Wars saga?
O: Moff Jerjerrod: But he asks the impossible! I need more men!
BRD: What is the coolest show your band has played?
O: That is a tough one. I’ve always wanted to play outside, so many years ago I had a chance to play on a stage in the middle of a field at a festival. The problem was, it was literally a field. There was also like 3 DJs playing simultaneously on other stages. There was no-one there but it was fun...
BRD: What is the shittiest or most hilarious show your band has played?
O: See above. Actually, no. Summer 2017 in Red Deer. I was a new dad and I got a night out to play a show. No one showed up and we were left with a bill.
BRD: Who do you think is the most underrated band out there?
O: All of my bands for sure.
BRD: What's your "safety net" stage banter?
O: I don’t have a mic, so as safe as I can get.
BRD: If you could be any Pokemon, which one would you fuck? I mean be.
O: Nidorina.... oh I mean Charizard.
BRD: If your band could tour with any living or dead band in history, who would it be?
O: Squad Five-O. They were my favourite band growing up and they always put on a wild show.
It's not worth doing if you don't over do it.
